Birth of a Republic

There is unrest in the galaxy. Mysterious warlords threaten the loose alliance of systems in the Core regions. Dignitaries of all types have converged on the capital planet of CORUSCANT to discuss plans for defense.

Not all are so inclined for peace to reign. A Dark Side cult, known as the BROTHERHOOD OF THE NIGHT has become a constant danger to the galaxy and her inhabitants. The JEDI KNIGHTS struggle to band together to meet the deadly cultists in battle and defeat them once and for all.

The shroud of war has descended. The Eriadu Imperium may soon be drawn into the conflict, ostensibly on one side or another. But not all is as it seems when the Dark Side clouds everything…

Welcome to the Birth of a Republic thread! Here we will construct our own history of the formation of the Old Republic in the face of dire opposition and war through a character based RPG. Can the fledgling government withstand the trials ahead or will a republic of systems prove too difficult a challenge at this point in history?

Current Situation of Galactic Events

The Thyferrans and Eriaduans have been driven from Ossus by a victorious Confederate fleet, lead by the new "Titan" Class Battleship.

Vice-Admiral Mortrim Trivian has been captued and sent to ImperiousSullust for interrogation.


Characters

As the events of this time period are largely unknown, many if not all characters will be made up. When creating a character, use the following format:

The Confederacy of Core Worlds


Name: Darmas Kualan
Occupation: Director of Confederate Military Intelligence (CMI)
Bio: A cousin of the well-known High Admiral Helen Kualan, Darmas did not find his current position in the Confederacy with a lucky chance to show his skill as his cousin did, but was instead always looking to take up the position of Director of the CMI from the age of 18, when he enlisted in the Army.
Training in the same basic way as any other soldier did, Darmas was soon found to be extremely talented on the field of battle, and was enlisted by his superiors into the Confederate Commando Corps, where he trained in Special Ops and Communications. Coming out as top of his peers, he served with the Elite Corps at early battles of the Thyferran-Core War such as Ryloth, Bilbringi and Carida, where he assisted in the rescue of countless refugees, including his uncle and pregnant aunt, who soon gave birth to Helen Kualan whilst enroute to Coruscant, who would later grow up to be the High Admiral of the Confederate Navy.
After Carida, Darmas applied for a position in the Security Corps of the CMI, but found himself being offered a job as one of the Elite CMI Agents, a small group who acted as spies and intelligence-gatherers for the Confederacy. Throughout the years he rose through the ranks and gained himself a reputation till he was eventually made Director of the CMI after he rescued the Confederate Head of State from a blast which killed the then-current CMI Director.
He has unfaltering loyalty to the Confederacy the the cause of freedom, though he does bear some misgivings about the Confederacy getting too deeply involved with the Jedi Order.

Name: Ignus Fatuus
Occupation: Chief of State, Confederacy of Core Worlds
Bio: A Coruscant native, Fatuus has been a defining voice in politics since his early introduction into the galactic political scene. His father had been instrumental in the formation of the Confederacy. Now, the son attempts to continue in his father’s enormous footsteps. He has been at the forefront of several major reforms and has spearheaded a number of bold new changes. But his true purpose – and the fate of the galaxy – is yet to be discovered as he travels a deadly path through fate.


Name: Admiral Helena Kualan
Occupation: High Admiral of the Confederate Navy
Bio: Technically not of any nationality, as she was born on an unregistered refugee transport while it was fleeing the political instability of Carida some years ag, she is generally accepted as being a Coruscanti, as that is where the refugee transport took her family. She was raised there until the age of 15, when she decided she wished to pursue a career in spacecraft engineering, and purchased passage to Corellia. There she took up a course at Coronet University in Mechanics and Engineering, Grade 2.
She was told by her tutors, halfway through the course, that she did not possess the natural skills or abilites required to handle any career as an engineer, and was advised to pursure other paths. Taking the advice of those tutors, Helen signed up for a small-time job as a cleaner at the Fort Hulloric military base near Coronet City.
Still young at only 16, Helen worked as a cleaner for only six months before she was recognised to have a great natural skill for tactics. This discovery came about with a tremendous amount of luck, as one military officer had made the sarcastic comment on a colleague's proposed training scheme that 'the cleaner might aswell have designed it' sparking Helen to burst out her own criticisms of the proposed scheme.
Startled by the way the cleaner had managed successfully point out key faults with their current military procedures, the military officers decided amongst themselves to sign young Helen Junari up for the Naval Officer Training Course, on the firm belief that she had what it took to be a success.
She was returned to Coruscant where the Naval Officer Course took place, and studied and trained there for three years, till eventually she passed as the top of her class and straight into a job as a young 21-year old Lieutenant in the Confederate Navy. The first captain she served under, Captain Anza of the Battlestar-Class Cruiser, the Ulysses, recommended her to his superiors as a candidate for captaincy after a mere four years service as a Lieutenant. When Captain Anza was killed in a pirate ambush whilst travelling under light escort, Helen herself became temporary Captain of the Ulysses before the ship was handed over to another official Captain. Her work, however, had gained the attention of some high-fliers in the Navy.
At the age of 28, she was made a Captain of the Confederate Navy, and served well and loyally. Despite all these character traits however, it was her brilliant tactical mind that gained her the support of her superiors when she applied for higher-ranked jobs. As war began to grow more frequent across the galaxy, and casualties within the Confederacy were growing, Captain Helen Kualan soon became Admiral Helen Kualan, a position which she took very seriously and served with skillful brilliance. It was not long before, just under eight years after becoming a Captain, she was made the High Admiral of the Confederate Navy, making the ship she had first served on, the Ulysses her own personal flagship. She is now one of the highest ranking members within the Confederate Command Structure.


Name: Mortim Trivian
Occupation: Confederate Vice-Admiral and spy
Bio: Trivian was born and raised on Ord Mantel, an industrial world. Trivian was born to a minor industrialist, however he never truly knew his father because he was killed in a meltdown when Trivian was three. Raised by his mother and uncle, who had been having an affair since a year bofore Trivian's conception, Trivian lived an average lifestyle.
However he despised the planet of his birth, he saw it as dull, dirty and dead. Refuse was begining to pile up on street coners, and a few species could no longer live in it's troat-ripping atmosphere. A political idealist he headed for Coruscant and the Core Confederacy. He believed at the time, based on Ord Mantel's social system, thatthe way into politics was through the military.
He, of course, was wrong, howver he showed considerable talent in the field and was fast-tracked into the realm of officers. He served as a commander under High Admiral Kualan for many years, they were friends and even lovers at a point. He was promoted to Vice-Admiral after he brought his homeworld under confederacy control. It was here that Carri Planor embedded herself in his life, causing him to betray the Confederacy at the battle of Dantooine.
Because his distinguished carrear the CMI brushed the incident under the carpet and set him up as a mole, in ordetr to leak the Church's secrets to the Confederacy.

Name: Jutt Locasta
Species: Nautolan
Job: Ambassador for the Confederacy, Advisor to Head of State
Bio: Born into and raised by an incredibly rich family on Coruscant, Jutt Locasta seemed set to take over the vast trading empire of ship-building yards and trade-posts that were then currently ran by his father and uncle. However, when Locasts decided he wished to pursure a political career instead, his father and uncles had a huge falling-out on who the business was to fall to, eventually causing the company to be split up into several smaller businesses, diminishing their huge profit and the wealth that came with it.
Fortunately, Locasta was successful in his chosen career path, and was soon able to resume the life of luxury he had been raised in. Despite the raising his father had given him, Locasta was not snobbish or pompous, he had very basic principles which he stood by strongly. This did not mean he did not enjoy the high life of the rich and famous of course, and he often attends parties, meetings and other such occasions.
He does have a particular skill at diplomacy though, and this led him to become the official Ambassador and Spokesperson for the Core Confederacy, and he is a close friend of the Head of State, as he is also a personal advisor.

Name: Captain Christien Riken
Occupation: Captain of the Swift Class Corvette Imperious
Bio: Christien, also known as "Chris" was born in a poor neighboorhood on Courscant. He was barely schooled and actualy taught himself more than other people taught him. He longed to leave his neighboorhood and Courscant and head out to the stars. When he was old enough, he joined the Confederate Navy. He was assigned as a crewman on the Starship Shining Star, but it was destroyed in an engine faliure and he and only a handfull of other crewmen escaped. He was then reassigned to the starship Imperious as a bridge crewman. When the ship came under attack by Pirates, the captain was killed and Chris took the conn and repelled the pirates. He was then given permenant command of the Imperious after his heroism displayed in his skirmish with the pirates.

Name: Lieutenant Tollor
Species: Mon Calamari
Job: Lieutenant aboard the Ulysses
Bio: Kidnapped by pirates to be sold into slavery at a young age, Tollor was incredibly lucky when the pirates were caught by a Confederate vessel whilst enroute to the nearest slave market. Having been set free by the Confederate vessel, Tollor volunteered himself to stay on as an errand-boy for the officers on the ship, as he had decided that he too wished to join the ranks of what he believed to be the heroic Navy of the Confederacy. The officers of the ship, the Ulysses, humoured the young alien boy, but soon came to rely on him as their jobs became more and more busy with the onset of war.
In the years in which young Tollor entered Mon Calamari adulthood, he was still serving on the Ulysses as the errand-boy, but when the Captain, a man named Tizon Anza, was killed in a pirate attack, Tollor's good friend and Lieutenant aboard the ship, Helen Kualan, rose to become temporary Captain. When the Ulysses was handed over to an official Captain, Captain Kiolli, Tollor was promoted from mere errand-boy to Second Technical Officer, as Lieutenant Helen Kualan had reccommended him personally to the new Captain. Now an actual crew-member, Tollor soon proved his worth several times over, and Captain Kiolli soon made him First Technical Officer, and later on Lieutenant of the Ulysses when Helen Kualan was promoted to Captain of her own ship, the Virgil.
Tollor almost reached Captaincy himself, when Kiolli was killed in the war against the Inner Rim Warlords, but the day after his death Helen Kualan was made High Admiral of the Confederate Fleet, and took the Ulysses as her personal flagship, leaving Tollor as her Lieutenant.
High Admiral Kualan trusts Lieutenant Tollor more than most in the Navy, as she knows from personal experiences that the Mon Calamari will not let anyone challenge the Confederacy of Core Worlds and the principles it believes in without a fight.

Eriadu Imperium

Name: Xim Thano
Species: Human
Job: Emperor of the Eriadu Imperium
Bio: Born the 186th child of Peter Thano, former Emperor of the Eriadu Imperium and Xim's predacessor. Raised from an early age with the strict discipline characteristic of Peter Thano's reign, Xim Thano was finally chosen as the sucessor to the strict emperor and taught from an early age discipline and respect (All of Peter Thano's previous choices died of old age before they could ascend the throne due to his extreme longevity, a mystery to modern historians today, even ones so pentrating as Drawde Nobbig.) His father dying when Xim was only 17, the young Emperor spent a year in a quasi-regency with several prominent advisors ruling with him until he became the full-fledged emperor on his 18th birthday. Shortly after that he was to be married to the charming Kotrana Varless, a woman two years his senior of great charm and intellect. However, fate appearntly intervened. While at a raucous party (For the Thano's anyway) Xim was introduced to Arwen Natta by some friends as a joke (Although more likely Arwen herself instigated such a "chance meeting".) Using her considerable beauty, social connections and some unknown process, she managed to disrupt the union between Xim and Kotrana, causing an angry dispute between the two. Xim Thano soon after discovered Kortrana after her appearant suicide (with a holo-message indicating Xim's shortcomings) when he went to visit her private villa to attempt to make amends. Believing himself to be the cause, Xim was thrown into a deep depression (Perhaps recalling a similar incident early in his life in which his father ordered Xim to personally assasinate his older brother, Morgan II and his lover when the two were caught by the watchful eye of Imperious). "Inexplicably" Arwen soon surfaced again, using her charms and beauty to seduce Xim into marrying her soon after. Xim is totally devoted to his wayward wife, despite her serious shortcomings and general reprehensible actions. Xim is a generally soft-spoken, congenial man, quieter and academically focused, a radical departure from his father's energetic, stern, and authortarian manner. SSince his marriage to Arwen, Xim his steadily become less assertive and more passive, especially to her.

Name: ImperiousPrime
Species: Supercomputer
Job: Cheif weapons researcher, starship design and engineering, Palace security for Eriadu
Bio: The omnipresent computer inteligence in charge of palace security, Imperious is a sentient supercomputer serving as Xim Thano's cheif advisor. Beginning his existance slightly over 100 years before Xim's birth, Imperious began as a sentient 6 legged robot designed to assist Peter Thano in his daily ruling with his encyclopediac knowledge and advanced analytical capabilities. Gaining Peter's esteem, Imperious was gradually granted more duties, power and prestige (including, oddly enough, control of the kitchens, which occured when a tragic accident killed Peter Thano's favorite chef) until fianlly his mobile body was replaced with an intergrated supercomputer underground. Provided with cameraes and speakers in every room of the palace, Imperious was put in charge of palace security. Eventually, over time as Imperious's processing powers were expanded even further, he was made cheif weapon designer for the Imperium and has gained massive amounts of influence. Over the centuries, Imperious has expanded his mainframe to include data containers, memory nodes, processors and various interface units for kilometers under the crust of Eriadu.

Name: Imperious[Various]
Species: Supercomputer
Job: Various.
Bio: The Imperious versions that exist throughout the farthest reaches of the Eriadu Imperium, these are the creations of ImperiousPrime. Although each one is created more or less identical to the original Imperious, the variations in function and experience have created unique traits identifiable to each Imperious. The construction of each Imperious is totally unknwon to the outside world, as the original creator of Imperious has long since died and all subsequent versions were created, designed and constructed by ImperiousPrime and his mindless worker drones. Nominally, each Imperious effectively governs the planet it is assigned to, in conjunction with the various human goverors, ministers etc. Although variations exist in their construction, each Imperious essentially is constructed in the same manner, with the main interface areas on the surface, core processing, memory and mainframe functions kilometers underground, protected by the crust of the planet, ion resistant casing and various types of shielding. Thanks to the unique multi-tiered and seperated memory banks, each Imperious is essentially impervious to data failures, corruption resulting in fatal error, or other problems that tend to plague computerized entities. The Imperious versions are capable of linking to one another, but rarely do so. Typically, it is only between the major Imperious versions that any sort of communication is made on any signifigant basis. The fact that any collaboration exists between any of the Imperious versions is totally unknown to the outside, for the simple fact that noone else is ever involved in such discussions. Besides that, the encryption\decryption process of the datafeed is so tremendously taxing that all other functions must be slowed considerably to handle it. Just as ImperiousPrime, intended, this prevent the versions from collaborating anymore then is absolutely necessary. Although there is an Imperious for the vast majoity of Imperium worlds, only a few are notable. ImperiousCor, ruler of the subjugated world of Corellia has no proper speech pattern. ImperiousSullust has a dark obsession with death and runs a great many experiments aimed towards that. ImperiousKashyyyk is enamored of large industrial projects. ImperiousHoth, one of the several Imperious's totally unknown to organics and generally isolated from the galaxy, has developed a taste for killing, perhaps because Hoth is the center production for War Droids, a creation of ImperiousPrime.

Name: Arwen Natta
Species: Human
Job: Empress of Eriadu, wife of Xim Thano, other
Bio: A woman of ill reputation and somewhat shady past, Arwen Natta is the youngest daughter of the Arwen family, a wealthy and prestigous family of formerly good reputation and stringent morals. When Arwen's grandparents both died in a freak speeder accident, their vast fortune was divided among their grandchildren and still living children. Rather than remain in the luxurious but low-key estate of Natta Gardens, Arwen essentially left the family and started a radically different life from the one her relatives lead. Her radical departure from the mores of the conservative and strict Natta family generated massive media attention and Arwen soon became known as one of the leading socialites of Eriadu, dominating the headlines (and image spreads) of seedier holo-publications. After many high profile affairs with various wealthy Eriaduan bussinessmen, Arwen acheived a somewhat unsavory well-deserved reputation in many circles and is an extremely devisive figure. Her infamy only increased when she became a semi-regular dancer at the popular club "Eriadu Knight". Even though she posessed considerable wealth, Arwen extravagant spending habbits forced her to seek alternate sources of income. A year and a half of unsavory services later, Arwen finally devised the perfect scheme. Become the Empress of Eriadu and hence, essentially the single wealthiest individual in the galaxy. Manipualting the temporary breakup between Xim and his fiancee (and faking her murder as a suicide) allowed Arwen to scheme her way into Xim's heart. Currently, she resides as the Empress of Eriadu, a women of no modesty and less character. She has spent vast sums of money on parties, clubs, and retreats all featuring the basest of entertainment and services, going so far as to stock the palace with a literal army of such people, turning the palace into a kind of mega-brothel, something unthinkable a mere decade ago. Arwen is personally extremely beautiful and charming indivudal, with a sweet and innocent look that belies her demeanor. She has an extremely soft and soothing voice and is an extremely persuasive speaker.


Order of Jedi Knights

Name: Terrag Amayo - DSF
Occupation: Jedi Master; Lead Jedi Council Member
Bio: Wise and powerful, Terrag Amayo serves the knights well as a leader. Perhaps a bit too orthodox, it was he who banished Master Denor because of the latter’s practice of “revolutionary” training techniques that involve embracing the Dark Side as a means to an end. Nevertheless, Amayo is not a cruel man and took pity on Denor, giving him a ship with full hyperdrive capabilities so he might start anew far from the persecution of his fellow Jedi. He also was the main force behind the banishment of Rackar Frended. Amayo’s past remains a mystery to many, even himself. Most of his life was spent in isolated training to connect on a deeper level with the Force. Having no recollection of his childhood, he simply does his best to protect the Jedi Order and expand its knowledge of the Force.

Name: Andora Venorr / Wind Rider – DarkSideFire
Occupation: Jedi Master
Species: Angel (Angels live on the moon of Diego, they do not have wings of any sorts, and do not naturally fly. But they are considered to be some of the most beautiful people ever. Some claim that they were formed by the Gods, other claims they are Gods.)
Age: 28
Bio: Andora was brought to the Jedi and started her training at the age of ten. She was first discovered to have the force when her family was attacked and the three attackers ended up dead. One with his head crushed by a rock, and the two others by bolts of lighting. It seemed that Andora had the incredible talent to create force storms; this became even more apparent when she started creating miniature storms in her house. She also started levitating herself around the house along with other objects. Her parents became fearful of this and sent her to get Jedi training immediately knowing that their gifted daughter had to get control of her powers before something horrible happened. She went to receive her Jedi Training and though she wasn't the best in lightsaber combat she was amazing when it came to storms. She saved a planet from invasion by calling on a force storm to wreck the enemy ships that were coming through the atmosphere to land. She also became known to many among the order as well on different planets as "Wind Rider". She got this name when she rode the wind over the plains of Dantooine to fight the Cirath, terrifying beasts of the air that were plaguing and killing settlers, she rode the wind as if were alive to fight and vanquish the threats. She also saved nearly four hundred children from being incinerated by a bomb when she lifted them and herself with the wind and took them all over a hundred kilometers away to safety. She trained as a Jedi Knight and then later on when she was 27 she was accepted to be a Master. She has been a Jedi Master for little over a year but as surpassed many in wisdom and in power though she often receives correction from the other Masters for her mistakes she is still respected among the higher masters of the order. She is also an Angel, and she is considered the most beautiful Jedi of the Jedi Order. Sometimes her beauty alone can calm fights. Andora also is the mother of one son, her husband was a Jedi Knight and was killed a few years ago in a battler. Andora's son is seven years old and has been trainging in the ways of the force, he is powerful in storms like his mother and may even become more adept then his mother with them as he gets older. Andora is also one of the current six Jedi Council members, wise and respected she does her best to lead the Jedi Order.

Name: Teno’Va
Occupation: Jedi Council Member
Species: Togruta
Age: 62
Bio: Teno’Va was born to a middle class family and found early on by the Jedi Order. He was discovered to have an amazing force potential and was taken for training right away. His Master was a previous Jedi Council Member and together the two formed an unbreakable team. They completed numerous missions and by the time he was 29 Teno’Va was a Jedi Knight. He and his master still went on missions together, their last mission together was actually going to stop the Jedi Rouge and later Dark Jedi Dreadnaught who was leading an insurgent on the planet of Contruum. Teno’Va’s master led the Jedi team sent to capture Dreadnaught. Together he and his master, along with four other Jedi Knights infiltrated the palace where Dreadnaught was rumored to be. They confronted the Dark Jedi and attacked him but Dreadnaught was a better fighter then anyone of them had ever seen. He slaughtered the Knights with ease before continuing to attack Teno’Va and his master. In the end his Master was beheaded and his nearly lost his head. Teno’Va managed to flee however and retunred to Ossus to tell of yet another failed attempt to capture Dreadnaught. Realizing the severity of the situation the Jedi Council leader Terrag Amayo led another team to capture Dreadnaught. Teno’Va went with them and this time they captured and subdued the beast. He however managed to escape later on, but since he has not been seen nor heard from. The council voted and decided that Teno’Va should take his masters place. He has served for nearly 35 years on the Council and is a wise and powerful member. He also has trained three padawans already and all have achieved Knight Status, one of them even becoming a Master.

Name: Stranger
Occupation: Senior Jedi Council Member
Species: Miraluka
Age: Around 400 years
Bio: Stranger is one of the most powerful and mysterious members on the Council. He is the smallest Jedi Council Member, but one of the quickest and deadliest. He wields a rare silver lightsaber with power and knowledge that besets that of most in the order. His command of the force is also surprising, he is wise and powerful and very highly respected. He is also one of the quieter members in the order, not always speaking, but when he does one should take heed and listen to what he says. Stranger has served for nearly 300 years on the Jedi Council and is one of the older and most respected members. Stranger has also lived way past the life span of a regular Miraluka. Many believe that the force alone sustains him, which makes people wonder how powerful he really is.

Name: Ool Venoo
Occupation: Jedi Council Member
Species: Neti
Age: Around 2,000 years
Bio: The Oldest member of the Jedi Council, Ool Venoo has been on the council for over a thousand years. He is a skilled diplomat and also the Jedi Librarian. Although he is the oldest and by far the wisest member he still submits to Terrag’s decisions and bides by what he has to say. He is the father figure to most of the padawans at the temple and almost everyone in the galaxy has heard of him before. He is a well known and loved Jedi master, respected and cherished by all.


Name: Chet Venorr - DarkSideFire
Species: Half human half Angel
Bio: Named after his father, Chet Venorr is young and impulsive. Though he is only seven he had seen enough death to make him a rather hard young lad. He is strong like his mother when it comes to storms and she has been trying to train him in his powers, showing him how to control it and such though he hasn’t been the best listener. He can sometimes be a quiet boy that no one knows much about, but when he is angry it is obvious because lighting will begin to weave in his hair and his eyes will turn a deadly white color that lets you know to back off. He is extremely good looking though he is young and his mother has received numerous offers concerning marriage for the young boy.

Name: Taechor Tiin
Species: Iktochi
Job: Jedi Master - Member of the Council
Bio: Born and raised as any standard Iktochi, Taechor was discovered by the Jedi and whisked off to the Jedi Temple for training. He was trained by Master R'huhk, a Whiphid Jedi, and was noted to be 'quick to judge, but usually to judge correctly. He is a loyal member of the Jedi Council, with many years of experience. He is considered by the Senior Member of the Council to be a wise Jedi and a tough arm in a fight, his green blade being the bane of many enemies of the Order

Name: Seena Litasha
Species: Human
Job: Jedi - Padawan to Master Taechor Tiin
Bio: Raised by Taechor Tiin when he was stranded on her homeplanet, and found baby Seena on her own in the house in which her parents had been recently murdered, Master Tiin cared for her for almost 2 years before they were rescued. Over those 2 years, Tiin had managed to draw out the Force potential within her, so she was ready for training as a Jedi when they arrived at the Temple on Coruscant.
Raised with other Younglings, she was immediately chosen to be Master Tiin's Padawan at the age of 13, due to their past history and the 'fatherly bond' he had formed with her. She is now 19, and wields her blue lightsaber to deadly effectiveness


Brotherhood of the Night

Name: Aeler Darkvoid
Occupation: [Brotherhood of the Night] Leader
Bio: Aeler grew up with a dark secret. He had an unique ability to control the objects, sometimes even the people around him through fear. His dark ability grew secretly, clouding the Jedi Master who taught him the ways of the Force. When the time was right, Aelar rose up and slaughtered his Jedi Master displaying his awesome control over the Force to the other students. In a dramatic exit from the Order, Aelar grew close to the political figures in the galaxy. His dark abilities allowed him to complete tasks quicker and more deadly than any of those before him. Secretly, he sought out other students like himself, and forged the Brotherhood of the Night. Together this dark brotherhood grew with more power, secretly and in the shards of darkness. The Brotherhood's first demonstration of power, was the attempted assasination of Jedi leaders. Although their lives were not taken and many considered it a poor attempt, Aeler was able to gain support of General Ravenlocke. Their secret alliance would show the galaxy that their combined power would not tolerate incompetence and the dominion of fools.


Name: Deius Tarsti
Occupation: Brother of the Night
Bio: Unlike many of his fellow Brothers, Tarsti is not a fallen Jedi Knight. In fact, no one is quite sure just where he came from. Discovered by Aeler Darkvold on an expedition through the Outer Rim, Deius has proved himself useful due to his strange powers. Tarsti has kept these powers mainly underwraps, and when he does use them, no one is able to remember the details. However, Darkvold recognizes that Deius is highly skilled at what he does - perhaps dangerously so. He has taken an interest in the enemies within the Core Worlds...especially the Jedi Order. He is the Brotherhood's primary agent and liasion within the Church of Truth.


Name: Dreadnaught – DarkSideFire
Occupation: Brother of the Night
Species: Anzatii
Bio: Dreadnaught is basically what the names says. He is a massive man over 300 pounds and all of it muscle. He was originally trained by the Jedi but was later outcast for his violence. Though he could barley lift a rock with the force he was the most advanced and amazing lightsaber fighter the order had ever seen. He was later banished however for killing three Jedi Knights in a lightsaber duel. He was banished and basically went on a killing spree, he was unbeatable with his two lightsabers and many people fell before him. The Jedi Counsel sent out a number of Jedi after him to stop his wild killing spree but he mercilessly slaughtered them all. One of the Jedi teams sent to stop him had the padawan of Terrag Amayo, Dreadnaught slaughtered the padawan and it became apparent that something had to be done to stop him. He later killed several leaders of a world and staged a coup with him trying to place him self as the leader of the planet and the worlds around it. He took the planet and proceeded to take several more when the Jedi realized they were dealing with a mad man. This time an exteremly large Jedi strike team was launched with many Jedi Council Members leading it including Master Terrag Amayo and Master Andora. In the end Dreadnaught was over thrown and the Jedi took him as a prisoner. He managed to escape and after killing his guards he fled to a small planet where a certain man by the name of Aeler Darkvold found him and told him about his dark Jedi order. Dreadnaught agreed to join him and became his right hand man, Aeler Darkvold’s body guard as well as assassin. He could beat anyone in a fight and till this day he has not lost against any single opponent besides Master Terrag Amayo who he swears he will kill. Dreadnaught also has the habit of collecting the lightsabers of the Jedi he has killed. He currently has a total of 63 lightsabers, though he claims he has slaughtered more Jedi then that. He recently helped lead the attack on the current Jedi Council, though this attack was mostly a failure two Jedi Council members were killed in the strike. Dreadnaught himself managed to kill three Jedi in the attack, two of them being the Jedi Council members that were killed. This just further increased his reputation as a Jedi Slayer, a title he is happy to take.

Name: Kymber Lectrac
Species: Zeltron
Job: Brotherhood of Darkness Acolyte
Bio: A Zeltron from the planet Zeltros, she is a particularly alluring member of her species. Born force sensitive, she was easily lured to the darkside by the Brotherhood of Darkness. Materialistic to the extreme, Kymber cares for only two things, love and wealth, which the Brotherhood has provided for her in abundance. Always an admirer of Arwen Natta, the Empress has been her idol for as long as she can remember and she has always modeled herself after Natta. A woman who, like Arwen, has brought seduction and opulence to an art form, views Arwen as having fulfilled the ultimate goal of all women, having control over someone of vast wealth and power. Well, those who are capable of aspiring to such a thing, as she says. Strikingly similar to Arwen in all manners but species, it would almost seem as if the two are related. Hearing that the Brotherhood had brought Arwen into the fold, she jumped at the chance to teach her of the potential power of the force.

Appearance: Bald, muscular humanoid with bright silver eyes.
Weapons: 2 yellow lightsabres (able to be locked together to form a sabrestaff, concealed at hip), two curved ornate blades (strapped to back, visible), two blades (concealed in boots), 1 blaster pistol (strapped to thigh, visible), 1 longblaster (slung across back, visible)
Occupation: Member of the Brotherhood of the Night
Bio: A mysterious being of power, even Tionax himself has no clue as to the nature of his past. He remembers one thing, that he was strangled at birth and almost killed. This particular shi'ido had a knack for escape, and survived somehow. Though he is a shi'ido, he never uses his shapeshifting abilities. Instead he keeps the form of a tall, bald human with silver eyes. The eyes cannot be changed, and were shined artificially by a man he met in one of the many prisons that he occupied during his lifetime. The darkness that engulfed his memories ends at his eighteenth birthday. Already powerful physically, he was in prison for murdering a diplomat. He was apprenticed to a Dark Lord of the Sith, until an arguement over his lack of interest in using his power sparked a huge fight. Powerful as he was, the Dark Lord was no match for Tionax when he was using the full extend of his powers. After that fight he disappeared, and only just reappeared as a member of the brotherhood of the night. IN the intervening years, he did not use the Force once, preferring to rely on his massive physical prowess. He has perfected the art of melee fighting, and has never lost a battle in his entire life. His physical strength is matched only by his ability to disappear without a trace. A formidable opponent, not a single person has challenged him and lived to speak of it.

Warlords of the Inner Rim (Thyferran Alliance)

Name: General Ravenlocke

Occupation: Thyferran Alliance Fleet Admiral, Head of the Thyferran war effort
Bio: A keen military mind, a cruel will, and a bitter past –these things are the underlying components of General Balfur Ravenlocke. Born and raised on Thyferra, General Ravenlocke proved his genius at an early age. His battlefield tactics helped unite a war-torn Thyferra and subjugate all surrounding territories under a single banner – his. One day, a mysterious, black ship appeared above Thyferra, requesting an audience with the General. It was reluctantly allowed to land and thus Aeler Darkvold was introduced to Ravenlocke. Wooed by promises of galactic control, Ravenlocke then won the support of other Inner Rim warlords and launched his campaign of terror on the Confederacy. He was overthrown by the upstart Jabus Hemorzzin, a devious politican and a traiterous character, Jabus sent Ravenlocke to the frontline. Ravenlocke despises Jabus with every fibre of his being and seeks every oppertunity to plant a knife in the traitor's back. For now however, Ravenlocke is content to command the fleet in the war against the Core.

Name: Jabus Hemorzzin

Occupation: Lord of the Thyferran Alliance
Bio: A Thyferran since birth Jabus grew up in one of Thyferra's major families, son of the late Admiral Orin Hemorzzin. He was trained in the art of warfare since the age of five, but much prefered the subtle world of politics, and thwarted an attempt on his father's life from Ravenlocke, only to later join with Ravenlocke and murder his father himself. Creul and ruthless by nature he userped Ravenlocke three months ago. He indulges himself in personal fancies, always seeking to serve himself. Despite his wastefulness he is one of the more sucessful warlords, with a florishing economy he gives full backing to the fleet under Ravenlocke and the military under his own command. Due to his upbringing he despises the Core confederacy and often turns a blind eye to other matters if it means damaging them. His old vendetta with Ravenlocke is not forgotten, though he hopes to tie the man to him, he would hate to kill someone so useful.

Name: Serian Hidari – DarkSideFire
Occupation: War Lord
Species: Dashade (During the height of Dashade civilization, the powerfully-built people were ruled by aggressive warlords. The harsh conditions of Urkupp, the sun-scorched resource-poor home world of the Dashade, fostered a philosophy of rule by strength. When their early space faring efforts revealed to the Dashade a larger galaxy populated by Jedi and the ancient Sith, it only strengthened these ideas. The Dashade found allies in both the Sith and the Jedi. The ancient Jedi Knights used Dashade combat instructors to hone the warrior skills of their young Padawans. Not only were the Dashade physically resilient opponents, but they showed a partial immunity to Force-based powers. The Sith, too, employed the Dashade, as guards and assassins.)
Bio: Serian is the ruler of all the Dashade and a very aggressive person as are most of his people. Serian was born to two War lords, both of his parents ruled his people with a cruel and hard hand, and from the beging of his life he was trained in combat. Serian also is totally immune to force based attacks, many of his people can resist them but a few are actually immune to attacks from the force and he is one. He first earned his right as a commander when he slaughtered a Jedi and his Padawan. He later on killed his parents and took over the Dashade Empire; he called back all Dashade from other worlds and managed to cobble together a good size fleet and an army. He is a cruel being who enjoys the deaths of others, and would not hesitate to kill someone if he thought they were planning against him.

Name: Jiuan Stark
Species: Human (Thyferran)
Occupation: Vice Admiral of the Thyferran Navy, Commander of the 1st "Flaming Dart" Raider Fleet
Bio: Jiuan Stark, a Thyferran with ambitions, leads the 1st Raider Fleet, a fast force made up mainly of Imperator-class Heavy Cruisers and hyperspace-capable starfighters. His squadron has hit numerous Confederate fleets and outposts, harrasing them when they were weak. Their symbol, a flaming dart, named after the preferred assault tactic, is feared by Confederate crewmen. Stark is politically active and often questions his superiors' orders, but General Ravenlocke likes his "jackass" style, hence why he hasn't been demoted to Ensign yet.


Name: Jens Stark
Species: Human (Thyferran)
Occupation: Thyferran Ambassador in Eriadu
Bio: The uncle, and guardian, of Jiuan Stark, Jens has grown up with politics and lived with it his entire live, and after re-establishing diplomatic contact with the Eriaduan Imperium after a embarrasing incident with the former ambassador, he was chosen as the successor. He raised Jiuan after the death of his parents, and always taught him to stay far away from politics, but he has failed, as Jiuan also displays political interest, but that was probably what he wanted in the first place.



Church of Truth


Name: Lorris Blackholder
Occupation: High Preist of the Church of Truth
Bio: Founder of the church, Lorris had a troubled childhood. Born to two Jedi he seemed the most promising force-user destined to be a Jedi, but it was not to be. His parents both were called upon to fight in a battle against the Brotherhood of the Night. Both died, and Lorris witnessed the destruction, that night he swore to destroy antyone who could do this, be their intentions good or bad. Years later he founded the church of truth, not even the circle know that he can use the force, and he knows that he will have to commit suicide at the end of the grand crusade.

Name: Carri Planor
Occupation: Circle Priest of the Curch of Truth, Advisor to Jabus Hemorzzin
Bio: One-time lover of Lorris she has devoted her whole life to the Church's grand crusade. Her motivation came when her father was dragged away by the Brotherhood and she never saw him again, she stubbornly believes that her father is alive, but she knows that he is dead, deep down. Since then she wandered for a few years, trying to find something to fill the void her father's dissapearance left. Then she found the Church and devoted her life to it, she has become so devoted to the cause, so much she will give up anything, or do anything for the cause.

Name: Einar Bahir
Occupation: Mercenary
Bio: A Quarren male, Einar grew up on Mon Calamari and left the planet with the death of his family. He is a mysterious being, and conceals most of his history. He gathered a large crew of elite mercenaries, and they captured an Imperator Class Heavy Cruiser. They managed to refit it to carry a hangar able to field four fighter squadrons. The Cossack as it has been aptly renamed, waits near Thyferran space, ready to serve the highest bidder.


Job: Bothan Adxmiral
Species: Bothan
Bio: Bothawui is known as the spy center of the galaxy. Anyone controling it's vast intelligence resources would have a great advantage. The Bothan Defence Fleet was created in order to ensure that Bothawui would always remain free. It was consodered an honor to serve in the B.D.F., and it still is, though the honor is weakening through the Galactic Conflict that has torn through the galaxy. Spies are used more than soldiers, and Bothans have always been spies first and foremost. The Bothan fleet was never dispanded.

This is where Alrick Nalain'fey enters the picture. Born to a rich Bothan family, he showed an inaptivity for spying that was bordering the lines of impossibility. He showed a much greater potential for military tactics, and was tranfered to the Defence Fleet. There he quickly rose through the ranks until he commanded the entire fleet at the esteemed position of Admiral. His skill with strategy was unmacthed by any Bothan, and he was clearly the only real military leader the Bothans had. He commands the Usurper-Class Cruiser Bothawui.

Name: Rackar Frended
Job: Rogue Jedi
Species: Dantooine Human
Bio: A force-sensitive child born on Dantooine, he was taken too the Jedi Temple there for some basic training. He was exiled when he used the dark and lights sides of the Force together, and didn't see what was wrong. He fled Dantooine by hijacking a transport. He landed on Tatoine, in order too stay away from the Jedi. He has one lightsaber, yellow.

Name: Deacon Frost
Occupation: Owner of the Loaded Blaster, Member of the Brotherhood of the Night
Bio: Frost is perhaps the only person in the galaxy who can honestly say that Tionax Mahillia trust him. He has known Tionax since his escape from Korriban, and has been at his side in prison since that time. A perfect shot with a blaster, he is also an ace pilot.

Bio: Abbey is 21 years old. That is all anyone else knows about her. Nobody knows where she comes from, or what she truly is, and nobody will even know, not if she has her way.

Name: Skycus Talell - Victor Von Doom
Job: Space Pirate Leader
Species: Human
Bio: Once on the team of scientists who invented the hyperspace drive, he was kicked from the team because of his ideas. He believed and believes to this day that you should rule with fear. He thought you should beat those who opposed your ideas. These thoughts lead to him losing his job. Using some stolen hyperspace technology he retreated. Slowly he is developing a secret faction. One that one day will be a threat to the Republic.
Name: Cyanus Likadas - Victor Von Doom
Job: Pirate Commander
Species: Human
Bio: He was a high ranking offical until he was sent on a mission to guard a senator. His convoy was intercepted by pirets. They killed the senator and his guards. Oddly they were ordered to keep Likadas alive. After meeting the Pirets leader, Talell his old friend he then knew why. He has sworn an oath to the Pirets Alliance.

Name: Klator Defruca - Victor Von Doom
Job: Pirate Admiral
Species: Trandoshan
Bio: Talell's second in command. He had sworn his life to protecting Talell and Talell defected from the Republic Defruca followed. Before he did this though he had his times. He was a top commando, he was top of his class and now he's a piret. He went on a mission to assasinate a senator which ended up being a trap. He lost his arm and leg on his right side. Now he has robotic arm and leg. They are no where near as good as his old body parts, but they will suit him for now...

Name: Kadlrda Zibonious – Victor von Doom
Species: Trandoshan
Job: High Priestess; Leader of the Trandoshan People
Bio: At the age of fourteen she was already becoming the idol for Trandoshan children: a thief, a murder and of course relentless. She soon learned from a priest while in a temple, she was destined to become the High Priestess, the Leader of the Trandoshan people. At the age of twenty her destiny was fulfilled. Now that a government is establishing she fears the worst for her people. She has decided to join Talell's rebellion, only because Klator Defruca is, in secret, her husband.

Name: Jorrda Besadii Tir

Job: Hutt Warlord
Bio: A veteran of the war with Xim the Despot, Jorrda is one of the last warriors among his kind, and one of the oldest. He commands his own loyal followers who admire the great general, but is rapidly losing its power to a younger generation, who have no interest in war, but in crime. He has yet to choose who to side with in the war between Eriadu and the Core.

Bio: The daughter of a mildly prominent dancer on Ryloth, Alluria was born into a seedy underworld of corruption, prostituion and illicit morals. Running off at a young age, Alluria spent several years living off of theft and general petty criminal activity. When offered a chance to go off-world, she took it and was soon under the general command of Garrity Persia, feared space pirate and at the time the most wanted man in the galaxy. She spent 25 years in Garrity's crew, travelling all over the galaxy until finally Garrity Persia retired on Eriadu, under the assumed identity of Lucas Nebboria. Leaving his legacy to her, he entrusted her to continue on the lifestyle of a pirate. ALluria did so admirably, jumping from place to place until fianlly finding a semi-permenant base on Kashyyyk...

Director Darmas Kualan's moment of glory, his claim to fame. The Titan class, so named by history for it's pure destructive power. Hated and feared it was thought a ship for tyrants, not good honest Confed men. The thing is basically a flying gun, it is literally covered in the things. The Chancellor Vice Admiral Trivian's flagship also houses an experimental cannon, able to bombard a planet from orbit.

Dominance class battlecruiser Prototype

Descripton: After analyising the most succesful weaponry in space Imperious notied the succesfulness of the concussion missile ay eliminating small ships and fighters, alonside it's ability to bombard other ships from outside their normal range. The logical answer to promote this weaponry was simple, the trident. This small cruiser has three arms on it, each with four missile bays, much more compact and automated due to Imperious' new desgin. However, logic states that it would be cheaper to use them further back beause of their range, and because of that lower their defensive capabilities for maxium cost efficency.

The Church of Truth

"Deliverance" class light cruiser.
Description: Designed and built purely for the Church of Truth before it's paranoid inquistion, these vessels are hardly even classed as cruisers. They are used mainly for ferrying dignitaries, and escort, and occasionally the capture of heretics. There are only 55 in service.

Crusade" class figate.
Description: A distant ancestor of the Nebulon-class frigate used by the Rebel Alliance, it was a type of ship salvaged by the Church after the Yaga Minor civil war. These ships look very simmilar although it has only a forward section with a long tail, with a small hangar at the end. The tail is the location of many systems and these figates are easily destroyed by larger ships, prone to being split in half. There are only 20 availiable.

This is a variation DSF... As you will see. They would have detected the spy, but...


Rackar wacthed as this Dreadnaught killed Master Tiin, with almost effortless effort.
" In answer to your question, yes I will join you. Both the Dark and the Light side are so small, so insignificant. I use the currents of the Force.", Rackar said.

Rackar summoned another current, and brought it down on the two fleeing Jedi. He sent his army, and Navy after there minds. He sent his mind troopers after them both, with support from battleships and bombers. He focused his attacks on the padawan, but sent some a Jedi Knight, a mental one at least, after the Master. He continued sending wave after wave of troops, securing the ways in and out of both of there minds.

Name: Bri'tu Faye

Job: Jedi Master
Bio: Born on the Aleena homeplanet of Aleen, Master Faye was discovered by the Jedi to have strong Force Potential and was taken to be trained at the main Jedi stronghold of Ossus. He was good friends with both Andora Venorr and Taechor Tiin, aswell as being on friendly terms with most of the Council. His determination and loyalty to the Jedi cause have never been questioned, and though his skills with a blade are indeed incredible, it is in planning, strategy and tactics that this small Jedi Master makes his name and reputation. He has trained three Padawans to Knighthood so far, but does not seem interested in training a fourth.

OSSUS - JEDI TEMPLE

"Beyat, secure that clearing over there." Master Faye ordered one member of his relief team to make sure a small clearing to the left of the group was not housing anything unwanted.

"Javar, you and Fida check the upper-canopies." Faye said to the two acrobatic Twilek Jedi with him, who instantly leapt up into the nearby trees to search.

"Master Hugir, have you and your Padawan discovered anything?" Faye called over to where a Bith Jedi Master was searching in the undergrowth with his human padawan.

"Nothing, Master Faye." The Bith called back.

There were approximately twenty Jedi fanning out across the large space which occupied the front of the Jedi Temple, searching admist the groups of trees and plantlife for anything.....or anyone.....who might be a threat to the Jedi. Master Venorr of the Jedi Council had already sent word via her comlink that Master Tiin had fallen to an incredibly powerful warrior, and Master Faye was taking no chances in his 'recovery' mission.

"Master Venorr, do you read me?" he spoke into his comlink, trying to regain contact with Andora for the fourth time.

No luck.

Not that there was any such thing as luck anyway.

Master Faye's thoughts turned to the now deceased Master Tiin. He had been one of his greatest friends, next to Andora Venorr, and his loss was a terrible blow to the Jedi Order. Before he could grieve for his friend properly though, he knew he had a duty to fulfill.

"Master Faye," A Rodian Jedi, Suun Beyat, approached the small Aleena Jedi, "Master Venorr is approaching."

Looking up instantly, Faye saw on the horizon the shape of Andora riding one of her Force Storms in the direction of the Temple, with who he assumed was Seena Listasha, Tiin's previous Padawan.

"Recall the Jedi." Faye told Beyat hastily, who immediately began rounding up the search teams.

Master Faye watched as the twenty or so Jedi converged, just as Andora and Seena hit the ground with soft thuds as there boots hit the surface. A small smile on his face to show he was happy to see the Councillor alive, Faye stepped forward, flanked by Beyat and another Jedi, and said,

"Master Venorr.....Andora.......it is good to see you are alive and well, oldest of friends."

Then, the smile fading, Faye turned to the still sobbing Seena and said,

"Padawan Litasha, I am grieved to hear of your loss. Master Tiin was a mighty Jedi, a proud Iktochi......and a very great friend. I shall miss him dearly, but he goes now to become One with the Force."

Seena looked down at the Aleena Jedi Master, and let out a faint smile of thanks, before allowing Suun Beyat to lead her away into the Temple.

"You may return now." Faye announced to the other Jedi, who immediately began heading back into the Temple.

Faye, walking up the steps with Andora, asked in a troubled voice,

"Andora, be frank with me, what kind of threat are we facing here? I mean.....to kill Taechor......is it a Sith?"

"I am not sure, but I doubt it." Andora replied glumly, "The warrior seem to avoid using the Force at all, and Sith tend to become more powerful the more they use the Dark Side in a fight."

"He could merely be unskilled in the ways of the Force, but have the Dark Side infested in his skills with a blade." Faye suggested

"Possible, I suppose," Andora relented, before saying, "I shall consult with the Council, together they will know what to do."

"Speaking of Council Matters," Faye told her, "I am considering requesting permission from the Council to lead a team to hunt down Tiin's killer."

"The Council did not authorise the use of a strike team against Rackar Frendad, so I doubt they will authorise against that.....monster."

"But Rackar hadn't proven himself to be more powerful than one of the Council." Master Faye reminded her.

"What you say is true, Faye, but how can you be sure you and whatever team you take will be successful?" Andora asked.

"I can't be sure. Nothing is sure in this day and age, Andora. But I request that you ask the Council on my behalf at your next meeting."

"I shall submit your request, but do not expect a positive answer, old friend." Andora replied, as they reached the doors which lead to the Council Members Quarters.

"I must make my report to the Council, now." Andora told Faye who nodded and said,

"I too must go and take some Jedi to retrieve Master Tiin's body. It is only right we give him a proper -----"

"Masters!" came a voice from down the hallway.

Turning round, Andora and Faye both looked on as a Knight by the name of Lilit Fre'er ran up to them, a slightly sickened look on his face.

"What is it, Lilit?" asked Faye, who was familiar with the Knight's name.

"Master Tiin....." he replied, ".....his body had just been thrown at the Temple Gates."

"Thrown?" Faye looked alarm as the thought of his friend's corpse being disrespected in such a way.

"Yes Master," Lilit continued, "With....considerable force, Master......his body is.....barely recognisable."

Andora stared at the Knight, before turning to look at Faye, who was twitching slightly with....anger.

"Faye..." Andora said calmly.

The twitching stopped.

"I appologise, I lost myself for a few seconds," Faye told her, a reptilian hand on his forehead, "Such desecration....."

"Is what this attacker wishes to use as bait against us." Andora finished his sentence.

"You must inform the Council immediately, Andora. I must.....have some time alone." Faye said, and without saying goodbye or waiting for a response, he began walking away down the hallway.

Andora stared at the Aleena's back as he left, trouble filling her face.

The red glow filling Lavek's cavern faded to purple, then turned blue. For the next few minutes the color alternated continually and Lavek knew a battle was being waged between good and evil right aove his head. He knew it was only a matter of time before one of them sensed him, but there was nothing he could do.

If he attempted to flee he could probably stun a couple of them, but he was getting the idea there were more then two.

Also he could run the risk of stunning only the good ones and get killed anyway.

The final problem was a very little known effect of the force-deadening shockwave his species put out. Once the effects subsided the force came rushing back into the area like air refilling a gap after a bolt of lightning. Any jedi... or sith for that matter that was in it's radius would become immensely powerful for a short time.

And judging by the intensity of his own glow Lavek didn't thnk any of them needed that kind of help.

Then all the blue faded and Lavek was left in a very bright red illuminated room. He knew he would soon be discovered if he didn't flee.

With a serpent-like lunge he cleared his doorway and bolted for the temple.

The life he had hewn out of the wilderness kept him in good physical condition, and if he stayed on all fours he could cover a lot of ground.

"If only the stream ran by the temple." He thought to himself.

He was a lot faster in water, but still comperable to most species on land.

......

When Lavek finally burst from the end of the forest he saw the remains of a body splattered all over the front door to the temple. He knew how serious the situation was, and had already decided to come out of hiding.

He also knew that anyone who sensed him through the force would see him as a wielder of their side of it (Although he had no such control). This might be the edge he needed to gain access to the complex. And once he was inside he could do what had become unthinkable to the rest of his species: He was going to offer his services as a Styrol.

OOC: Now one of you guys controlling things on Ossus can take over for my introduction. And as I said before: please read my post in the signup thread so my character makes sense to you.

OSSUS - TEMPLE

After merely an hour of quiet meditation, Jedi Master Bri'tu Faye emerged from his chambers and silently made his way to the Great Gates of the Temple, and ordered the sentinels there to open them.

"Are you sure, Master Faye? We haven't had time to.....move, Master Tiin." one of them told him.

"I intend to do it myself," Faye replied sternly, not looking at the Jedi addressing him, but instead looking blankly in front, "Have some Jedi bring robes and a coffin to lay his body in. We shall release Master Tiin to the Force in the Pyre Chamber."

"As you wish, Master Faye." the sentinel replied, before leaving his post to activate the Gates.

The Gates began creeping open slowly, but making a loud noise as they did. Master Faye just stood still, facing the Gates, until they had opened completely and were letting the afternoon Ossus sun beat its light through the archway. Waiting for only two minutes longer, Faye was soon joined by three Jedi; one bearing some robes, the other two carrying a coffin.

"Let us go." Faye said silently, as he began walking forwards, his little legs moving quickly underneath his robes, but only seeming to walk at a slow pace to a human.

The other Jedi followed him, out of the Great Gates and onto the first few steps of the Great Stair. They did not have to go far to see Tiin's body, broken and beaten. Faye walked over to the corpse, mutilated though it was, and bent down next to it, placing his small repitilian hands on the chest of his Iktochi friend.

"May the Force Be With You, Taechor Tiin." He said solemnly, before nodding to the Jedi bearing the robes.

The robe-bearer nodded back in response, and place the robes gently over Tiin's body, covering his wounds and mutilated face. Faye then used the Force to lift the body carefully and placed it in the coffin, all the while a frown on his face.

"Lay him in a place of honour until the time is right to ignite his body and release it to the Force." Faye ordered the other three Jedi, who nodded their heads in silent obedience.

As the three Jedi began making their way back, Faye stayed behind, on the Great Stair. He was looking out onto the Ossus landscape, his eyes searching for something he knew he wouldn't be able to see.

Suddenly, a sharp disturbance hit his mind.

"I sense....." he began, before leaping into the air on instinct, drawing and igniting his blue blade as he did.

Landing a short distance near the bottom of the Stair, Master Faye immediately became wary of something once more, and made sure his blade was ready.

A rustle in the nearby trees was the first sign

The movement he sensed in the undergrowth was the second.

The sound of silent footsteps echoing through the Force was the third.

His eyes narrowing, Faye did a side-flip and landed in the nearby undergrowth, cutting down several bushes in his way to make a clearing. And in that clearing stood, on all four of its leg, a strange....bat-like creature.

Faye was going to dismiss it as a native of Ossus' wildlife, but then he realised he had never seen such a creature, or heard about one, before. Wary with his blade, the tiny Aleena Jedi said,

"Who...or what...are you, stranger?"

It was then that he sensed a strange amount of Force energy within the creature. He could not sense any Dark Side aura within it though, so Faye became slightly less cautious of the beast, but still held his blade firmly.

"Who are you?" he repeated his question.

Alright, let us start with a brain. It has a bunch of nerul(?) pathways, that allow it too function. Rackar is sending tendrils of the Force, in the form of troopers and Battleships, along with a Jedi, too assault the brain. However, the brain has defenses, and in aForce-trained individual, they can be modified, develpoped, and created using the Force.

Ossus - Temple

Lavek lifted his green slimy eel-like head to greet the Aleena before him. His hexagonal grid glowed with such a bright blue it could be seen even in the daylight. The teeth protruding several inches both up and down from his mouth parted, and with a slightly reverberating voice he said:

"I am Lavek. I am a Styrol. My people were once hunted for our use to, and against your people. We have avoided this kind of exploitation for several thousand years. Now I come to you willingly. I am here as your servant."

The eel/bat thing bowed to the jedi master. Then he arose and in a telepathic voice offered to explain his people's history, and what made them so special to this cause.

Master Faye de-ignited his saber and placed the hilt back on his belt, and listened intently as the creature, Lavek, explained telepathically the way his people had been hunted and exploited, for use against the Jedi, Sith and any other Force users.

"I can only begin to express the gratitude of the Order for the services you wish to place willingly to us," Faye told Lavek, "But the Order does not condone the use of servants."

Despite his unfamilarity with Lavek's species, Faye immediately sensed a feeling of rejection swoop from the creature, and he hastily added,

"If you wish to work with the Jedi Order, then you shall do so as our equal, not as our servant. I would like to take you before the Jedi Council, the leaders of my Order. With them you can discuss what it is you intend to do exactly."

He began walking back towards the Temple, and indicated for Lavek to follow him,

"It is not safe outside the walls of the Temple right now," he continued to explain, "In case you didn't notice, I just had to arrange the funeral for a very good friend of mine, who was killed not too far from here in the early morning hours." Faye's voice turned from welcoming to glum, "I miss him terribly so."

"My people have suffered such losses many times," Lavek told the Aleena, "I know the pain you feel. My condolences for your lost ones."

"And mine to yours, Lavek," Faye replied, "Thank you for your kind words."

As they began climbing the Great Stair of the Temple, the Great Gates at the top began lurching open, and soon several of the Jedi Gate-Sentinels were rushing down the steps towards Master Faye, drawing their blades.

"Master Faye are you okay? We sensed something non-Jedi climbing the steps." cried one of them, a Devaronian, who soon eyed Lavek and said, "What is it?"

"This is Lavek, who I assure you is an intelligent, sentient being." Master Faye told the Jedi, a slight sense of annoyance in the guard's prejudice against his new companion.

"Appologies, Master," the Jedi said, "What is...Lavek...doing here though?"

"I am taking him to see the Council." Master Faye replied simply, before continuing to proceed up the steps, beckoning for Lavek to follow, admist the stares of the other Jedi, who too began climbing the steps once more.

"Are all Jedi so prejudiced?" Lavek asked Faye

"No. No they are not. That particular Jedi, Ikbal Grimm, has never left the Temple, so you must forgive his wariness. I assure you, you shall find no such statements be muttered from the great Masters of the Council." Faye replied.

"I see, are you one of the Council? You seem to have much respect from those other Jedi."

"Me? On the Council? Heavens no, Lavek, I am merely well-known to the younger ranks of our Order since I taught quite a large number of them as Younglings."

"Younglings?" Lavek pursued.

"Its what we refer to those under the age of 13, before they are elected an exclusive Master as their Padawan or 'apprentice'. That Master then teaches tha Padawan the ways of the Force. That brand of teaching means very few Jedi are taught the same way, therefore very few of us share the same weaknesses, and can host a variety of strengths." Faye explained, pleased by Lavek's apparent interest.

As they entered the Great Gates, Lavek hesitated slightly, but Faye barely noticed it as the bat/eel creature soon followed him inside, where he gained several curious glances from the Jedi inside.

"He is with me." Was all Faye had to announce to the Jedi for them to immediately nod their heads and continued about their business.

"The Council is this way......" Faye told Lavek, indicating a stairway which led to a long hall several levels up.

Just a reminder Kiev, the whole Jedi Order knows who Dreadnaught is. If you read his bio you will know that he is well known for the destruction he caused. But your post will work fine, will just say Andora didn’t tell anyone who they fought…

Andora Venorr

Andora cast a forlorn glance at the other four Jedi Masters. “I didn’t tell any of the others and I warned Seena not to either,” she said quietly.

“It was a wise choice,” Terrag said, trying to give her an encouraging smile, “If they knew Dreadnaught was here some of our younger members may feel obliged to go hunt him down, and we all know they would be no match for him. Besides the thought of him could cause some panic among the order, it is best that they do not know who killed Tiin.”

“Faye will want to know,” Andora warned.

“He will have to wait,” Terrag replied.

“Dreadnaught is still a major threat, more so then ever before,” Stranger whispered as the small man slowly stood to his feet. He motioned toward three of the empty chairs in the circle, “He has now killed three of our current Council Members. Master Ilen, Master Fralew, and now Master Tiin have all fallen to him. He has killed a total of four Jedi Council members; something unheard of in the history of our order. We must do something about him; if we don’t then he will simply continue to kill more of us!”

“Master Tiin was Dreadnaught’s own master,” Ool Venoo rumbled, “If anyone knew his weakness it would be him. But even his knowledge of his old apprentice wasn’t enough and Dreadnaught now runs free, I agree with Master Stranger that something must be done.”

“But what?” asked Teno’Va, “His power is truly beyond that of many of the Jedi in our Order.”

“I agree that he must be stopped,” Andora said, rising out of her chair she slowly walked over to a nearby window and cast a cheerless look outside before turning and saying, “Whoever we send after him must be powerful enough to deal with him. We know he is weak in commanding the force through telekinetic means, but we also know that he is one of the best duelist in the entire order, only you Master Amayo have ever defeated him.”

“And I was extremely fortunate to,” Terrag murmured, “If Master Stranger hadn’t been there to help me I probably would have lost.”

“We did however beat him,” Stranger replied, “And the time calls for us to do so again. We all had hoped that when he disappeared, that he would be gone for good. But that was a false hope as we can see now, a Jedi team must be sent out after him!”

“Agreed,” Ool Venoo rumbled, “Master Terrag I think you are one of the only ones who can actually be sent after him.”

“Indeed,” Teno’Va said with a short nod, “I agree completely.”

“As do I,” Stranger said.

“And I,” Andora finished with a sad nod.

“Then I will go after him,” Terrag murmured.

“Not by yourself though,” Andora warned, “I would recommend taking along some Jedi with you.”

“But do not take a large team,” cautioned Teno’Va, “It would be wiser to keep the Jedi Group small, surprise will probably be your greatest weapon against Dreadnaught.”

“Very well,” Terrag said with a nod. “Now that we have that taken care of we need to move on to other matters of business. Something must be done about the Council; I would suggest we elect some new members. We need to show the rest of the Order that we have things under control.”

“Agreed,” Andora said.

“Master Rwen,” Ool Venoo said after a moment of silence, “She is powerful and wise, as well as one of the stealthiest Jedi in our order.”

“But she can be quick to anger,” replied Stranger, “And sometimes she lets her temper get the better to her.”

“So do most Bothans,” Andora said with a slight smirk. “I think that Master Rwen would be a wise choice. She has must experience in infiltration and is one of the better duelist the order has ever seen.”

“She is also well liked by all in the order,” Terrag murmured, “I think she would be an excellent choice.”

“And what of Master Faye?” Andora asked.

This brought a moment of shocked silence. Some of the Masters traded looks and Stranger finally spoke up, “I must admit that I am surprised you would suggest him Andora. He is indeed a powerful and wise Jedi, but he is also one who does not get involved much with the order. He tends to stick to the temple and take care of the younglings more then take an active part in what is going on in the galaxy.”

“But he is a brilliant strategist,” Andora argued, “He is smart and has revolutionized many of the way we teach the younglings. He has even come up with many incredible strategies that are employed by the Confederacy of Core worlds.”

“True,” Teno’Va allowed, “He is also loved by many of the young Jedi, they will listen to what he says and follow his example.”

“He has also trained many well respected students before,” Ool murmured.

“I think it is what Master Tiin would have wanted,” Andora whispered.

“I agree,” Terrag Amayo said as he finally spoke up.

“Very well all we all agreed?” asked Andora. The rest of the masters nodded as one, showing their agreement to the two candidates who had been chosen.

“Now what about Seena?” asked Stranger, “She will need a master till her training is complete.”

“I will train her,” Andora volunteered.

“Very well, Seena is given to you to be trained,” Teno’Va said. He suddenly paused and cocked his head slightly, “Someone is at the door, I believe it is Faye and… someone else though I am not sure who.” Waving his hand Teno’Va opened the door with the force.

Though no one showed any surprise Andora could sense the shock that rang from the masters through the force. In entered Faye and a strange bat like creature hobbled in with him. Andora instinctively stretched out with the force and was surprised when she sensed the light side pulsing from the creature. She felt a sense of relief know that this… thing must be friendly. She also knew however that looks could be deceiving. Stepping forward she bowed to Faye and his friend before asking, “Welcome master Faye, who is our guest?”

“This is Lavek,” Faye said as he motioned toward the stranger creature. “He is a-”

“Styrol,” Master Ool rumbled as the Neti rose to his feet. “It has been hundreds of years since I have seen one but I remember them well.”

“You… know what I am?” asked Lavek in surprise.

“Master Ool is over 2,000 years old,” Stranger said with a short nod.

“But that is beside the point,” Terrag said as he slowly rose to his feet. “What can we do for you Lavek, I am sure you have not come to us without a reason.”

“I wish to help you in anyway possible,” Lavek said, “I have… unique abilities.”

“Like what?” asked Teno’Va.

“They are able to emanate a type of force pulse,” Ool grated, “The pulse can stun all creatures near them and in a way creates a bubble in the area where the force is absent.”

“Absent?” asked Andora.

“It is gone,” Ool confirmed, “the area will remain like that until the Styrol can no longer uphold the pulse. They also ensue a type of force neutrality, it is impossible to sense whether they serve the dark or the light side since they always emanate a neutral force aura.”

“Yes,” Lavek said with a nod though he seemed shock to find out that one of the Jedi knew so much about him. “I wish to help.”

“We would gladly welcome your help,” Stranger replied, “But how do you whish to help us?”


They were everywhere, they poured over anything in their way. Like a flood they washed over us all, swept over us as if we were nothing," the old lady whispered, her eyes growing wide as she remembered the horror of the past, "Planets fell, the Jedi crumbled, but we still defeated them and drove them back. OSSUS - JEDI COUNCIL CHAMBER

"The absence the old one speaks of leaves even the most powerful being helpless to assaults from outside my range. I am not a tactitian, but I believe I can be a very effective tool. A weapon to be more precise.

Though I must warn you that anyone adept with the force, who is in the area when my dampening effect ceases will be awarded a surge from the force, that I've heard makes them anywhere from four to seven times more powerful.

The ones who were there when I activated it will most likely still be unconscious, but if one of your enemies were to step into the area as this occurs they would become even more deadly.

So the choice is yours. I could provide you with these boosts. Or I could incapacitate your foes. I know you are wise. And I'm willing to take any risks you see fit."

I decided to do a more complete bio of Tionax.

Name: Tionax Mahillia
Age: 40 - 50
Weapons: 2 yellow lightsabres (able to be locked together to form a sabrestaff, concealed at hip), two curved ornate blades (strapped to back, visible), two blades (concealed in boots), 1 blaster pistol (strapped to thigh, visible), 1 longblaster (slung across back, visible)
Appearance: Tall, muscular humanoid with a bald head and bright silver eyes
Occupation: Member of the Brotherhood of the Night
Biography:

Tionax Mahillia was born on Alderaan. From the very beginning of his life, he was different. For some reason though, his memories of his early years are a complete blur. That is, except for the memory of his birth. He was strangled to the point of passing out, but somehow survived. It seemed he had a knack for escape. His recollection starts around his eighteenth birthday. He was in a dank, dark prison that made even the worst other slam look like a leisure resort. It was more of a cave than a prison, and was full of predators not even conceived in the nightmares of the deeply disturbed. Another unfortunate along for the ride was an ophthalmologic doctor, who specialized in cosmetic surgery for eyes. He had come up with a procedure, something which would give the user perfect vision in the darkest of dark places. In an environment such as the one they were forced to reside in, such an offer was irresistible. He offered to do it for Tionax, for nothing in return other than his protection. Tionax agreed. The surgery was simple, merely an artificial shine job, done using tools smuggled in before Tionax had arrived. It went perfectly. Tionax was now able to see perfectly in the dark.

Shortly after this, the prison world where they were kept was attacked by a Sith army looking for warriors. Tionax took a Sith sword through the chest, a blow that was intended for the Doctor. He should have died, but for some reason he didn’t. He absorbed the Force energy imbued in the sword from the Sith Magic used during its forging. It healed the wound, be he was still rendered unconscious. He was brought before the Dark Lord of the Sith responsible for the attack. The lord took him on as an apprentice, a first among the ranks of the Sith. It turned out to be a grave miscalculation. Tionax was reluctant to make use of his Force power, a reluctance which no doubt stemmed from something that occurred before he was eighteen. This was a poor reflection on the Dark Lord, and his following began to wane. In a move which was designed to convince Tionax to use the immense Force powers at his disposal, the Dark Lord challenged him to a fight. It worked, but with deadly consequences for the Dark Lord. He was no match for Tionax when he was using the full extent of his powers.

The death of the Dark Lord sent waves of unrest through the ranks of the Sith. Should Tionax, an alien, be appointed Dark Lord, as he appeared worthy. They were spared a decision by a young pilot by the name of Deacon Frost. He had been in the original invasion fleet, and had become disgruntled with the empire. Flying a stolen ship, he rescued Tionax and took him to Coruscant, a place where the Sith could not follow. This was to be the beginning of a friendship that would span decades. They were not to live happily ever after however.

Frost was one of the few humans in the Sith empire, and was completely devoid of Force sensitivity. He was, however, and ace pilot and a perfect shot with a blaster; traits which assured his position within the empire while he was there. When he and Tionax arrived at Coruscant, they were arrested and sent to jail for treason and espionage. They were held in a maximum prison for a grand total of two weeks. After their escape, they were on the run for two years, during which time their respective charge sheets were increased by several hundred alleged murders. They were captured and imprisoned again, this time in a double-maximum prison. This lasted almost four years, but they escaped again. They lay low this time, but were captured when an associate sold them out. The killed him when the authorities sent them to a triple maximum planetary prison much like the one that Tionax had shared with the Doctor. Thanks to Tionax’s unique sight, they lived as kings among inmates. The prison was eventually shut down after heavy protesting, its inmates cut loose. Frost and Tionax returned to Coruscant, where they went their separate ways. Frost went comparatively straight, opening a bar and making some money.

Tionax on the other hand had other ideas. He blamed the Sith for his troubles and went there with two goals; to cause as much havoc as possible and to find the Doctor. He found the Doctor easy enough, a surprise considering it had been more than twenty years since he left. The Doctor had been buried alive after his escape and was at the bottom of the valley of the dead. He dug up the remains and gave the Doctor a proper buriel, at which point he returned to the Sith temple to confront the current Dark Lord. Rather than attack the Sith directly, he blew up the temple, killing everyone inside. Tionax left Sith space for the last time, and went to Koros Major, a world in the core. There he met a man with a rather unusual ability. He could influence others through the use of fear. He had gathered others together to form the Brotherhood of the Night. Tionax didn’t trust this man, and was unaffected by his ability due to the horrors in his past that had desensitized him. Nevertheless he decided to join the brotherhood. The man’s name was Aeler Darkvold. Tionax’s orders were to return to Coruscant, and wait for further instructions.

When he got back to Coruscant, he brought Frost into the fold, and settled into a relatively obscure existence. He never got a permanent job, but sometimes did work for Frost, doing jobs that needed his particular type of skills.

Coruscant Underlevels

Following the conversation with Abbey, Tionax and Frost returned to the bar. It was obvious Frost had something on his mind. The thudding music was a perfect environment for a private conversation. They found two spare seats and sat down.

"So whats up?" said Tionax.
"I think we should bring her in," replied Frost.
"To the brotherhood?"
"Yeah."
"I doubt they'd take another non force-sensitive."
"Who says she's not Force sensitive?"
"Who says she is?"
"Well you wouldn't know, you never use it do you?"
"So how do we find out?"
"Ask her."
"Sure, what a charming conversation, hi Abbey are you by any chance a Jedi?"
"Yeah, and if she is we introduce her to the Dark Lord of the Sith."
"I'm not the Dark Lord; we left, remember?"
"You are still the rightful ruler of the Sith Empire."
"Even if I was, do you really think telling a Jedi that would be a good idea?"
"Yeah, maybe not."
"So how do we find out?"
"We don't. Simple as that. Unless she reveals herself to be worthy of joining the brotherhood we don't bring her in."
"Hahaha, you sound so respectful, it doesnt suit you," laughed Frost.
Tionax smiled, "yeah, I'm not very good at it. BUt, time to go, I don't like this music."

JEDI COUNCIL CHAMBER - OSSUS

After Lavek had given examples of his abilities and how they could be used to help the Jedi Order, and ultimately the rest of the galaxy, Master Faye spoke up and added,

"I am in no doubt that the Council is seeking a way to bring justice to certain......people......who seek to make us their enemies. Lavek here could be a vital part of any plan to dispose of those.....people."

Nobody, with the exception perhaps of Lavek, was in any confusion about who Faye referred to. Tiin's murderer.

"On that note, Masters, may I ask what action is being intended?"

"That information will be released at the appropriate time, Master Faye." Master Amayo replied, a hint of sympathy in his voice, but a strong resolve too.

"As you wish, Master." Faye bowed slowly, before standing up straight once more next to Lavek.

He waited for the Council's decision on whether or not to accept Lavek's proposal.

JEDI TEMPLE - OSSUS

Seena was in her quarters, staring at the lightsaber she had taken from her belt and placed in front of her.

The lightsaber Master Tiin had inspired her to build.

She had constructed it at his bidding, when she was falling behind the other Padawans in making their own custom lightsabers. Instead of pressuring her into it, however, he had shown a rare soft side to his personality and encouraged her, slowly helping her along the way.

But that was a memory now.

She knew she had to look to future, and do her duty as a member of the Jedi Order, under a new Master, and serve well.

But who was her new Master going to be?

If it was anyone, she thought to herself, I would prefer it to be either Master Venorr or Master Faye, since they knew Master Tiin the best.

This thought led her into sleep, as she felt the need to rest after her tiring fight earlier.

To be honest, DSF, Tsui Choi was the inspiration for Master Faye, but I didn't want people to think I was just copying Prequel Jedi and changing their names lol. Oh well!

EDIT: Btw, Faye isn't just a copy of Choi anyway. Choi specialises in piloting and general wisdom, Faye is more of a tactician and knowledge-seeker

Ossus

Kyle Thano's Yacht landed on the green landing pad, indicating that he was a visitor of the diplomatic persuasion. The long, ornately decorated ramp deployed. Six guards, dark green uniforms spotless, filed out of the shuttle and stood, three on each side in two paralell files, waiting for their esteemed occupant to exit the ship.

Presently, Kyle Thano did, he cane clicking on the metal ramp with every step he took. A Jedi Knight hurried towards him and bowed slightly. "Admiral Kyle Thano is it? We received your transmission announcing your arrival and are pleased to have you as our guest. What do we owe the pleasure of this visit."

The old man scowled. "Nothing pleasant Jedi. Bring me to see your masters. I have no need for pleasantries." The jedi was taken aback. It was a most curt statement, and most uncharacteristic of the Eriaduans, who were known to be rather jovial in their affairs. "I shall set an appointment immedietely. Please follow me." The admiral hobbled behind the jedi knight, who had to visibly slow his pace.

The guards moved to follow, but Thano held up his hand in the Eriaduan signal to hold position. They continued on. After almost an hour of secruity checks and validations insuring that he was indeed Kyle Thano, he was ushered ceremoniously into the presence of the Jedi Council.

The old man bowed. "Esteemed Jedi masters, I humbly greet you ands hope that I have not inconvenienced you." "You have not, Admiral." Thano gave a strained smile. "I am glad. You see, the matter I have come before you is one of extreme importance, and hence I request that this be kept off of any official record you may make public." "The Jedi are not informers. You may speak."

The man bowed again. "Thank you. Perhaps you are aware then of the plight of the Eriadu Imperium." "We are not aware of any problem with Eriadu. All contemporary reports show the Eriadu Imperium as a healthy, thriving empire. It certainly is much more prosperous than any of the other galactic powers."

"I thank you for your high view of Eriadu, but I am here to tell you all is not well. The throne has passed onto an incompetent, weak ruler, my younger brother, Xim Thano. He is dominated by his wife, the Empress Arwen has her prologate habits disgrace our people and have strained the coffers of the empire to it's breaking point."

"Admiral, I fail to see where the Jedi can help with this. We do not interfere with the petty affairs of the governments of the galaxy. We protect and serve the weak, and defend the helpless. We do not allocate the budgets of nations." Kyle bowed slightly again and continued. "Of course not, but the consequences here will be severe. The Eriadu Imperium may be welathy, but it's wealth is not infinite. If the Eriadu government goes bankrupt, galactic trade will be severely depressed, possibly resulting in a galactic market crash."

"You speak foolishness admiral. You have not told us how, or even why the council would be able to effect this." Kyle nodded. "It is simple. I wish for you to assasinate both Arwen Natta and the Emperor Xim." The council was taken aback. "We will do no such thing. We do not carry out military assasinations. I am especially alarmed by your desire to kill your own brother."

"You will of course be amply rewarded..." "There shall be no rewards here, for we do not work with dissidents and traitors. Farewell Admiral Thano." Two large Jedi grabbed the old man as he feebly struggled.
"You don't understand!"
he yelled as he was dragged from the Council Chamber. "She'll find out, she'll have us all executed! There's no way we can protect ourselves from her abilities!"

The council members looked at each other. "Bring him back here." The old man was brought back into the center council area. "What TYPE of abilities does this... Arwen woman have?" The admiral shook his head. "I don't know. She can control people. She does my brother and she's done so with many people. They even go against their will to follow her. Some have even claimed to see her levitate objects during her dances, but I never believed that."

The Council Members looked at each other. "Please leave us for now... We shall discuss this matter amonst ourselves." The admiral was promptly escorted from the room.

Eriadu, Palace

Massive. Epic. Stunning. Expensive. Such was Arwen Natta's birthday celebration. Xim Thano sat, rather sullenly at the massive table that would hold the copious amount of food. Now, however, Arwen and her friends were now occupying the table, much to the delight of the patrons. "Such people have found much patronage and increased bussiness since my wife was here..." Xim thought wistfully. Soon however, he wondered why he even cared. "Father always seemed to me a bit... harsh." He watched his wife rhythmic gyrations for a while but soon lost interest. "I suppose anything can become boring when you've done it long enough."

"This is a most undiginified celebration, especially compared to my father..." Xim recalled his own youth... Xim had been six at the time, growing up among his massive family. After all of his public appearances, Peter Thano returned to the palace for his own personal celebration with the immediete family living in the palace, a few well-wishing friends, and, of course, the cheif advisors and tutors. The table was filled with conversation, debates, games being played, although it still managed to be a subdued affair.

Xim could remember his father embracing the Emperess and kissing her fervently, causing her to blush into a deep scarlet. Such a public display of affection was extremely rare. His father would also wander around the great banquet hall, joining in the various holo-boardgames that populated the room. Xim could never remember his father ever actually losing a game, although he was sure it must have occured sometime in his life.

Xim was brought back into the present by a roar from the crowd. Looking around, he saw several party-goers fighting for Arwen's garments which had been ceremoniously thrown into the crowd. "Looks like someone is looking to make a sell on the holo-markets later." It never ceased to amaze him that people would pay vast sums for the personal articles and effects of famous people. Surely, them having worn it does not change the usefullness of the item.

That was neither here nor their. Not seeing Arwen anywhere, he concluded that she had temporarily left the party with a few of the guests for some horizontal refreshment. H would not be missed. Xim left hurriedly and secluded himself in the command center. Most of the officers were gone. The only ones that remained were a few technicians or replacement officers. Most of the others were undoubtedly off enjoying the festivities.

"I am seeing the signs of distress Master." Imperious, he always knew when someone didn't want to be with anyone else, even if it was just a disembodied voice. "Imperious, do you have anything to report?" "That depends master. I have thousands of items to report, as i am currently able to preceive all of the things going on near or around the palace."

"Where is Arwen?" "I believe Master, she is currently with the Thyferran ambassador." There was an awkward silence, a difficult feat when have of the conversationalists can't feel embarassment. "I see... Well, any military devlopments?" "The Ajudicator along with a small taskforce has left to follow the Confederate Flagship. I expect them to report shortly."

Hyperspace, the Ajudicator

The screen froze on a closeup of the Thyferran ambassador's face. "There, you see!" Higlark said triumphantly. "The end of the third day, and only one of them!" The other high officers grumbled as they saw Higlark pocket their hard-earned credits. "Once again, we tahnk Imperious for his live-footage feed to settle our little wager. GOod thing he's a machine, or else he'd want a cut!"

Coruscant Upper Levels

Abbey crept along a narrow footbridge that connected two of Coruscant's monolithic skyscrapers. Several hours before, she had a conversation with Frost and Mahillia about Vance's
death. Not suprisingly she had recieved a brush-off. At first she was annoyed at them, they didn't know her, why should they judge. Then she realised that it was because they didn't know her that they were judging her. When she had first met Tionax, Frost had mentioned a series of murders he saw on the holonet. It gave her an idea.

She knew of an old guy who was legendary for his mistreatment of his female slaves. It seemed the perfect place to get herself into the holonews. Well, not her personally, more her handiwork. Getting herself photographed wouldn't be very smart. She was at the old man's unit now. Calling on the force, she tried to sense who was inside. Her grasp on the force was patchy at best, but there was one thing that she was brilliant at. It was this that she would use to kill the old man.

As far as she could tell, nobody was inside. She entered the room, and was suprised to see that there really was no-one inside. She climbed the stairs to the loft bedroom and slipped inside. She reached out her hand and used the force to choke the life from her victim. Coruscant Underlevels, Loaded Blaster

Tionax, Frost and Abbey were sitting in the back room of the Loaded Blaster watching the holonews. A bulletin came up.

Hi, this is Ryan Tracye with Coruscant News. Earlier tonight an elderly man was killed in his sleep by a grenade. Passers-by heard the explosion and went to investigate, finding the remains of the 80 year-old strewn across his bedroom, all but obscuring a message painted on the wall. When authorities arrived, they found wierd scribblings. An officer at the scene described the handwriting as 'reminiscent of a child's' and said that he wouldn't be suprised if a lot more of these sadistic killings turned up. The scribble, which we are showing on screen now, appears to have no intelligent meaning, and is believed to be the work of a psycho. If you have any information regar ..."

Tionax and Frost looked at each other for a moment, before bursting out laughing simultaneously.

"Lock up your grannies," laughed Tionax, "a psychotic child is killing his grandparents with hand grenades."
"Whats funnier is that they look like Sith runes," said Frost.
"Sith runes? I wasn't watching. Are you sure?"
"Yeah, four letters. TMDF."
Tionax laughed harder, "Short for Totally Moronic Dumb F..."
"What are Sith Runes?" interjected Abbey.
"Ask him," said Frost.
"Dunno," said Tionax, still laughing a little.

Unable to stand it any longer, Abbey exploded.

"Are you two some kind of retards? I wrote your initials in sith runes on the wall. Tionax Mahillia, Deacon Frost! Get it, understand now? Jeez what the hell does a girl have to do to get something through to you two. Would you rather I just Force-Choked you to death, would that suffice, would you understand then that i'm not just some little girl!?"

Unable to think of anything else to say, Abbey went silent, breathing heavily. Tionax and Frost had gone silent. It was Tionax that spoke first.

"I know, maybe the letters stand for Tionax Mahillia and Deacon Frost," said Tionax.
"Nah," replied Frost, "there's no 'a'."
"Yeah, good point. Was a good guess though."
"Yeah."

They looked at Abbey again to see if she'd go off again. She didn't, knowing now that it was their intention.

"How did you know it was me?"
"Followed you," replied Tionax.
"And how did you know that they were Sith runes?"

Tionax and Frost pulled up their sleeves, showing the Sith rune burnt into the wrists. Abbey stared for a moment, before Tionax asked her a question.

"How do you know what the Sith are?"
"I found several scrolls with their lore on them on Onderon."
"Onderon? How recently was this?"
"Bout five years ago, why?"
"Well that explains why I never knew about it," said Tionax.
"What? Why would you know about it?"
"Not now. Its a long story. Tomorrow, maybe or the next day."

Eriadu

Jens couldn't believe his luck; the Empress of Eriadu actualy liked him, now that was going to make alot of things easier.

What felt quite more uncomfortable was the fact that Arwen felt acctracted to him, and she had led him away from the party, into one of her private rooms.

"Now tell me, Ambassador, how is it like in the Core Systems?" She asked, with a tone that hypnotized Jens a little.

"Well, the Confederacy ambassador would be the right to ask about that."

"But what if I wanted you to tell me?" Her smile was near impossible to resist.

"Well, Coruscant is surely a great sight and the shipyards of Kuat are impressing, you should persuade your husband to take you there. I'm sure he would be glad to." Jens tried to remain calm.

"You don't know my husband, he's a despot which cares little about anything but power. But that was kind of why I married him."

"To gain power?"

"Yes, but let's not talk anymore of my husband, let me hear more about you." She moved closer to him, and despite by having relatively little contact with love during his life, Jens could clearly sense that she was going to kiss him.

"Please don't. I don't want to upset your husband." He tried to stop her, but he failed.........

The Ajudicator, enroute to Yag'Dhul

"Well, it appears our esteemed Empress has decided to have the Thyferran ambassador charge her loading ramp." A ripple of uneasy laughter wafted through the command room. Higlark began entering in something on a keypad. "We are not yet ready to overthrow Xim, but we can still be a thorn in his side." He let out a slight chuckle.

The assembled officers looked at him with blank stares. Higlark finished his message and transmitted it. "What? You haven't figured it out? " He luaghed again. "Didn't you listen to the dialouge? The ambassador is terrified of what Xim will do to him! Imagine his embarassment when the audio of the particular clip is broadcast over the conference at the appropriate moment."

The military officers all stood up at once and saluted. Sometimes, there are such strokes of brilliance that every military man, from the lowliest tech, to the greatest general, must gaze in awe at. This was one of those times.


History of Eriadu

2500 Years BGR (Before Galactic Republic): Eriadu is brought under the dominion of three ruling families, the Thano, the Kast, and the Adras.

2450 Years BGR: First War of Usurption. Eriadu's ecological balance is destroyed, resulting in over 3 billion deaths.

2300 Years BGR: Eriadu Prime Accord declared, creating stringent enviromental protection accords to preserve the quality of life for all Eriaduans. This marks the end of the first war of succession, ending with the alliance between the Kasts and the Thanos, destroying the Ardas family.

2000 Years BGR: First interstellar technologies developed. Eriadu begins colonizing surrounding sector, developing mercantile trading empire.

OOC: I've been a bit out of it too. My mother died march 14th, at 6:05 PM PST. She had cancer in her liver. So I'm afraid this was put on the back burner... Just know that I'm not going to ditch it all together.

OSSUS - JEDI TEMPLE

Lavek waited for master Faye to emerge from the large doors that led into the council chamber. He had one question on his mind: When would he know if he'd exposed himself to the main force using community in the galaxy for nothing?

Patience was something he usually had a great deal of, but now he felt an urgency.

The old man with the cane who had entered a few moments before was ushered out by some of the jedi.

Lavek sighed just audibly and swung his dangling flippers from the bench that was made for someone taller then he... And continued to wait.

OOC: Hey, I'm sorry to hear that man. I kinda know what it's like, my mother has Breast Cancer, although her chances of death are fairly remote. She'll be starting chemical therapy soon, so... Well, guess it just takes time.

YAGA MINOR - THE ULYSSES

"I do not bow to the demands of terrorists, for that is what you are." High Admiral Kualan said ruthlessly to the robed man in front of her, who had dared to try and take command of her ship.

"Auxillary Shields online and at full power." Tollor said quietly, as he had moved back to his control panel and activated the shields.

"Good, the vessels from that rag tag fleet would be destroyed before they damaged us again if they attempt to ram us." Kualan told the Mon Calamari, before turning her head back to the robed man.

"Now, we shall discuss YOUR surrender and -----"

Before she could finish, however, the man had yelled into a comlink 'RAM THE SHIP!' and had tried to flee the bridge. Two surviving guards made to stop him, but he revealed a hidden knife and stabbed them both in the neck, before rushing from the bridge.

"Forget him!" Kualan yelled to the other soldiers who made to follow, "Concentrate all power on our port shields!"

"Aye ma'am!" Tollor said as he began furiously pushing buttons and switches.

The nearest enemy vessel, under the orders of their leader, was indeed attempting to ram the Ulysses once more, but as the shields on the port side burst to life, it was rebounded and sent in a slow spiralling arc upwards, away from the Ulysses, which had suffered minimal damage in the assault.

"Launch Green Squadron to cover our retreat!" Kualan ordered as she stood back on her command podium.

From the hangar of the Ulysses burst twelve Confederate fighters, which began to engage the first wave of Yaga Minor ships which was beginning to radically catch up with the fleeing Ulysses.

"Enemy fighters are minimal. Most of their fleet seems to be capital ships and frigates. The first wave does at least." Called one engineer.

"Have the fighters avoid their defenses and lure their fire away from our engines." Kualan said, regaining herself and falling back into a calm, tactical mood.

The engineer issued the orders, and Green Squadron obeyed, dodging the blasts of the Yaga Minor home fleet and launching small-scale counter attacks, causing minimal damage but plenty of diversion.

"Ma'am, the Naval Squadron reinforcements is entering the system now." Tollor called to Kualan, who sighed a slight breath of relief.

"Good, have the Virgil and the Hercules provide cover on our flank and send in the Perseus to engage the foremost capital ship." Kualan told the Lieutenant, who obeyed and immediately sent the orders off to the newly arrived Confederate vessels.

"Ma'am! We have another ship coming in from hyperspace aswell." A technician told the High Admiral, who allowed the faintest hint of surprise enter her features.

She raised an eyebrow

"What is it?" she asked the technician

"Looks like a ship of the Eriaduan Navy, ma'am." he replied

"Send them a message and tell them we are attempting to fall back to Confederate Space. If they ask, we have every intention of returning to deal with this attack by the planet Yaga Minor.

"Yes ma'am, at once ma'am."

As the Ulysses completed its 180' turn and was in line with its hyperspace point, Kualan gave the order for a message of 'recommended retreat' to the Eriaduans, and ordered the three other Confederate vessels to fall back too.

Green Squadron, now several men down, docked with the hangar bay of Kualan's flagship, and the Confederate Squadron blasted off into hyperspace, headed for Coruscant.

ERIADU

"What is it Hurn?" Jutt Locasta asked his aide, who had rushed up to him in a fit of excitement.

"I was keeping an eye on the Thyferran Ambassador as you requested, sir," the aide, Hurn, replied, "And found him to have a 'private meeting' with the Empress."

"A private meeting?" Locasta inquired,

"Lets say the Thyferrans wouldn't want the Eriaduans to find out about it." Hurn replied

"Or would they?" Locasta questioned, more to himself than to Hurn

"What do you mean sir?"

"I'm not sure, Hurn, buts its never wise to use a trump card before you know its value, and this trump card's value could change dramatically at any point. Good work in keeping me informed."

OSSUS JEDI TEMPLE

Master Faye left the Council Chamber a short time after the Eriaduan Admiral had been escorted from the room, knowing that the Council liked to discuss its decisions without the intrusion of other members of the Order, unless specifically requested.

Catching sight of Lavek sat on the long bench, the tiny Aleena Jedi Master made his way over to the creature, and said in a reassuring tone,

"I am confident that the Council will agree that you are a trustworthy being." he said

"The Council would trust a stranger so easily?" Lavek questioned.

"Not easily, Lavek, not easily. No offence meant to you, but they will probably assign someone to keep a close eye on you. Standard routine of course." Faye replied, before sitting down on the bench next to Lavek, adjusting his robes so that they did not drown his small legs.

The kiss felt good, really good, and Jens was sure he couldn't resist, but somehow he managed to push the Empress backwards, cutting their enjoyable kiss very short.

Before she had a chance to respond, Jens rose up from the bed, "Listen, I am the ambassador of the Thyferran Alliance, I am here to secure good relations with Emperor Thano, not servere any potential chance for survival. Don't you see what would happen if the Confederacy would manage to defeat us? Then Eriadu would come next. This little moment have might destroyed every chance for our survival."

"Quite the contoary. Ximmy is fully aware of his.... shortcommings in some ways. And I have a thing or two to say as well, and if you are nice, I'll put a good word in for you."

"Then it's something else."

He moved closer to her, but she turned away and typed something in on a console.

"Having a good time, guys?" Her question was directed to someone else. She then shut down the console.

"Just some officers fond of spying on my personal affairs, I knew there were there right from the start, but don't worry, they're harmless."

"Are you sure? An important lesson to learn is that military officers allways are dangerous."

"None of it does matter, now where were we?"

In accordance with the American "freedom of speech" policy on love, this particular situation will not be described further.

OOC: She's 50... Seems so young. And until a year ago she seemed a lot younger then she was. Most people geussed mid to upper 30s.

Enroute to Yag'Dhul

"Sir, we have just received a emergency message from the Confederate High Commander. He is warning us to avoid the system and long-range sensors indicate his ship is leaving the system. Shall I change course?" Higlark shook his head. "Negative. I want to see what's here and if it can be exploited."

The ship left hyperspace in the Yag'Dhul system. "Sir, sensors report several hundred ships orbiting the planet, generally obseolete older models." Higlark moved to the console. "Give me communications". "Unknown entities, this is Higlark Kast of the Eriaduan navy. Please identify yourselves. We intend no harm."

Eriadu

"Master, the ambassadors, I believe, are suitably rested and ready for their pleading." Xim nodded. "I just hope Arwen doesn't spoil everything." The computer paused. "She is coming." Xim winced and his body tightened around his large electrum throne. The two servents flanking him fanned him with their Eriaduan fronds slightly harder. Ten guards solemnly escorted the two ambassadors into the large ornate chambers.

Two servents rushed forward and bowed before the throne, as did the ambassadors.
