hi guys (sorry my english is bad-i hope you will understand me )
I played a game in space and the other player destroyed my hole base with 2 shoots of luke skywalkers "lucky strike"
1shoot: all parts of my base were destroied 50%
2shoot: all parts of my base were destroied 100% -> i have lost

can you tell me how that trick works ??

That shouldn't be possible, unless for some reason, the Lucky Shot works like a hypervelocity gun in certain modes instead of just burning through shields and a specific hardpoint.

I'll have to try it.

Its possible !! its a trick... the player i was played with did it to mee !!! and some guys on empire at war said to me its a trick but they wount tell me how it work :-(

Do you just not click a hardpoint and select the hull?

I don't play online, of course. But having beaten the so-called Hard AI by simply making a Lucky Shot run on the opposing space station's shield generators and then blasting in with a half dozen MonCal Cruisers (including Ackbar), I have come to the conclusion that such a strategy is cheap. And I believe it is, in fact, possible to cause larger damage with it--it can destroy a corvette in one shot, after all.

Well, Lucky Shot immediately burns through the shield--regardless of strength--and the targeted hardpoint. Since corvettes don't have hard-points, it's a one-hit kill.
