Hello, I'm new to empire at war and have a question concerning ground battles.

Everytime I launce a ground invasion in galactic conquest as the empire, The Rebels keep getting tons and tons of artillery and tank units spawned out of their buildings!!! How am I supposed to win? I get overwhelmed again and again and again.

They take time to do this, so if you are taking a long time to make it to their base then they will have a large force waiting for you. If this is the case, it depends on what tech level you are at. If only the first level of tanks are present, then you can usually beat them out with AT-STs in large numbers. If they are using the tanks with treads, then you have to be much more strategic. DON'T use AT-ATs as they are too slow and will get torn apart especially if the opponent can out manuver you. If you know they are coming use artillery to take them out or at least soften them up. The Empire tanks are little match for the high tech Rebel tanks so be aware of where they are. Use the rocket infantry to combat tanks. The tanks will be toast in no time. The enemy artys will crush these infantry however. Rush the artys with fast tanks if you have them. If you use the bike infantry make sure you micro manage them to avoid them getting crushed. Hopefully this helps.

Proudly WS.

You want your toughest units landing first, along with a Scout Bike Squadron or two immediately afterwards.

The toughest units are there to hold off the initial "mass wave attack" the AI always sends.

The Scout Bikes you send in, one at a time, as fast as possible, straight into their base. Find their main production buildings, and send your Bombing Run there immediately.

Voila, no more respawning Rebs.

Does the empire get rocket infantry?

No, no they don't.

As Empire, you want to mainly use ATST's and Artillery to stop the initial push, plus masses of Stormtroopers on "take cover" standing behind the ATSTs.

What if they have a sheild generator, any tips?

Sacrifice a few Hovertanks to take it down. Send the Speeders to scout it out, and send the Hovers quickly in afterwards.

If keep 1 Hovertank safe at the back from each group, after the battle is over you don't lose any groups, and your lost Tanks are somehow restocked.

That's called mechanical reproduction. It's a new concept in Star Wars.
